• The Naval Treaty Implementation Program (NTIP)’s mission is to provide comprehensive arms control treaty support to Navy and Marine Corps commanding officers, program managers, senior leadership, and decision-makers. NTIP serves as the Department of Navy’s lead in all matters relating to implementation and compliance, with expertise in the planning, organization, and execution of Navy and Marine Corps implementation, compliance, and verification activities.
  • The Office of Naval Research (ONR) was established by law in 1946 to ensure the technical superiority of the Navy and Marine Corps. ONR’s mission is to provide our naval forces of today and tomorrow with the capabilities necessary to ensure technological superiority over any possible opponent in any situation and guard against technological surprise by any potential adversary. To accomplish these purposes, ONR develops and manages an integrated program of Science & Technology (S&T) from basic research to technology transition to Navy and Marine Corps forces and maintains a worldwide S&T monitoring and analysis effort.
  • The Marine Corps Network Operations and Security Center (MCNOSC) mission is to direct global Network Operations (NETOPS) and computer network defense of the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN) and to provide technical leadership in support of Marine and joint forces operating worldwide.
  • The Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN) represents the continuous evolution of the Department of the Navy’s enterprise networks and will provide secure, net-centric data and services to the Navy and Marine Corps personnel.

1. Provide capable and cost-wise enterprise network, business and fleet support information technology to the Department of the Navy.
2. Manage the acquisition lifecycle of enterprise-wide networks while providing secure, seamless and global computer connectivity for the Department of the Navy.
