Security Specialist

Duties and
Responsibilities:
Individual will be
assigned to support a GSSO in a large Program Office.
Candidate will be responsible for maintaining the
requirements in the SOP, conducting and generating
security education and training, preparing Personnel
Access Requests (PARs), submitting SF-86s, tracking all
clearances, preparing for annual compliance inspections,
knowledge and understanding of physical security as it is
governed in the JAFAN 6/9 and ensuring that the overall
security posture is maintained and enhanced at all times.
Neccessary Background:
Candidate must be able to
work alone and as a team player. Two to five years
experience preferred.
Experience:
BS or BA in a
related field or Military experience and training.
Competitive Edge
Qualifications:
Knowledge and
understanding of the JAFAN 6/0 a plus. Currently working
with a government-contracting firm. A current USG TS
security clearance a plus. Outstanding interpersonal
skills and excellent oral and written communication
skills.
Security Clearance:
Must be able to obtain a
USG Top Secret security clearance.
